The main theme of the 3rd Canadian National Undergraduate Bioethics Conference, is "Expanding Perspectives: Rural Bioethics". Accordingly, there are many subthemes throughout the conference, designed to shed light on the main theme from different points of view, and from within the context of various vexing areas of contemporary bioethical enquiry.

In addition, it is hoped that the various workshops that will be offered will go one step further, and yield additional perspectives through which to view the problems and attempt to answer questions surrounding the main theme of the conference this year.
