Webcast Requirements
To receive the webcast, post-secondary institutions must have the following:
- a high-speed connection to the Internet (e.g. - Cable, DSL, T3)
- a computer, connected to the Internet, with Windows Media Player v. 10 installed. Please contact your technical support groups for installation of this program if it is not already on your institution's computers. Windows Media Player 10 can be downloaded here.
- a fixed IP address
- a representative present at the conference
Any post-secondary institutions that wish to receive the webcast, must make a request via (they may also have their representative make the request on their behalf) at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
*Although the related technologies will be tested extensively prior to the conference, in the event of technical difficulties an audio-only webcast will take place in lieu of a webcast with audio and video.
